Maintenance Process
Return Inspection
Every returned item is logged and visually inspected for damage, wear, or missing components within 30 minutes of return.
Deep Cleaning
Technical wash for fabrics, sanitization for boots and helmets, and deodorizing for all contact surfaces using equipment-safe products.
Technical Service
Ski tuning with stone grind and hot wax, binding DIN checks, crampon sharpening, and rope inspection for core shots or sheath damage.
Quality Clearance
Final 5-point inspection and condition rating update. Items are tagged with their current condition grade and returned to rental-ready inventory.
Rental Policies
Rental Periods
- Minimum rental: 1 day (24 hours from pickup)
- Multi-day discounts: 10% off 3+ days, 20% off 7+ days
- Season passes available for winter ski equipment
- Late returns charged at 50% of daily rate per additional day
Deposits and Payment
- Credit card authorization required at pickup
- Security deposit varies by equipment category
- Full deposit returned upon inspection of gear condition
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and IC cards
Damage and Loss
- Normal wear and tear is expected and covered
- Optional damage waiver available for ¥500/day
- Lost or destroyed items charged at replacement cost
- Report any damage immediately to avoid additional charges
Cancellations
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup
- 50% charge for cancellations within 24-48 hours
- No refund for same-day cancellations or no-shows
- Weather-related cancellations reviewed case by case
